Hi, I'm Bethany, the owner of Wichita Family Birth Support. I started Wichita Family Birth Support out of a deep passion and calling to support families through one of the most meaningful and vulnerable experiences of their lives.
Our passion is in helping mothers turn their FEAR of the UNKNOWN into CONFIDENCE & STRENGTH as we give them the tools to prepare for the birth they desire.

What began as my personal calling to support families through pregnancy and birth has grown into a trusted doula team: a small, intentionally selected group of doulas who share the same heart for gentle, family-centered care.

My own birthing journey of a cesarean birth followed by 3 natural VBAC's has given me a passion to help other mothers achieve their goals. I've been attending births for over 12 years now. I know how important it is to have the support, education, and help advocating for what you want. Not only that, I desire to help instill a sense of calm and confidence no matter the circumstances during labor. When your faith fails or fear comes in, I want to be there to remind you to surrender and breathe.

When I’m not empowering mothers to find their inner strength or attending another birth training, you can find me at home with my kids and family, trying to keep up on housework and chasing around a bunch of busy bodies (sound familiar)? Together we have 5 children, 4 grandchildren, and I've most recently been a surrogate for a friend of mine - because, I guess I love birth that much!
I enjoy being active in my church and my faith keeps me grounded in the midst of the crazy and unexpected. In my spare time without kids (which isn’t often enough) I love to hunt for bargains. More than anything though, I LOVE birth work, which feels much more like a calling than a job. I love to learn new things and feel like a sponge for all things birth related. This is what I was meant to do, and to do it with you, well that makes me truly grateful and humbled.

Hannah became a doula for two main reasons: she loves everything about birth and she wants to help women know their options for pregnancy & birth. She will walk alongside you through pregnancy, helping you and your partner talk about goals and expectations. She will be a resource for questions or concerns you have in pregnancy, labor, and birth. Hannah's strengths are encouragement, holding space for you, and being in total support of you and your family.

Gabby chose doula work because she knows firsthand how vital it is to have a strong support system during such a vulnerable season of life. God gave us the gift of community, and that’s why she loves being a doula.
Her favorite part is building meaningful connections, supporting families, and having the humbling opportunity to walk alongside moms (and their families) through pregnancy and labor.
Gabby will walk with you through every phase, every question, and every unknown—so you can feel informed, supported, and confident as you journey into motherhood.
When she's not doulaing, she's a mom to four young daughters. She understands what it means to be in the thick of it. She'll be the fun and calming presence that you need to walk into motherhood confidently.
